team.Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Director Cloud
Security IAM to join our GenAI Security Team. This position is a
hybrid work role with collaborative in-office work as needed 2-3
days/week.As an experienced, driven, and curious leader with cloud
security specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM), you
will own the cloud security IAM domain with a focus on integrating
IAM into data security and privacy products focusing on GenAI and
Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.As a key contributor,
you will design and help implement hybrid and multi-cloud IAM
solutions that meet the highest standards of security, compliance,
and performance. You will collaborate closely with engineers, AI/ML
experts, and technical partners to integrate cloud security and IAM
capabilities into groundbreaking solutions that redefine GenAI
security.Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IAM architectures for GenAI systems,
ensuring secure access controls across multi-cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC),
attribute-based access control (ABAC), and context-based access
control (CBAC) policies tailored to AI/ML workloads and RAG
pipelines.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate IAM solutions into
GenAI safety features, ensuring seamless scalability and
performance.
- Lead efforts to secure data ingestion and retrieval processes
in RAG pipelines, mitigating risks such as unauthorized access and
data leakage.
- Evaluate and implement zero-trust security frameworks for
cloud-native AI applications.
- Monitor and improve the IAM lifecycle, from provisioning to
de-provisioning, ensuring adherence to compliance standards like
SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST 800-53.
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments specific to AI
workflows, identifying and mitigating IAM-related risks.
- Research emerging trends in cloud security and IAM
technologies, applying insights to improve GenAI product
capabilities.
- Contribute to the design and development of automated
governance tools for managing IAM policies in AI systems.
- Document and communicate IAM best practices, providing training
and guidance to cross-functional teams.Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a
related role, with a focus on IAM and cloud-native
architectures.
- Expertise in IAM solutions such as AWS IAM, Azure Active
Directory, GCP Identity, or third-party tools (e.g., Okta, Ping
Identity).
- Strong understanding of GenAI systems, including LLMs and RAG
pipelines, with a focus on securing data retrieval and usage.
- Proficiency in implementing least-privilege principles,
federated identity, and service-to-service authentication for AI/ML
systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud automation tools (e.g.,
Terraform, CloudFormation) to manage IAM policies and
configurations.
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols for securing AI workflows,
such as tokenization, hashing, and encryption.
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and
AI-specific security challenges (e.g., adversarial attacks, data
poisoning).
- Experience working with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR,
HIPAA, PCI DSS) and applying them to AI products.
- Advanced scripting and programming skills in languages such as
Python, Rust, and Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven
ability to secure complex, distributed systems.Key Personal

- This role is available as hybrid role where you will be
required to commute to the office in Stamford, CT 2-3 days a week
and work from home the other days. In certain circumstances the
work model may change to accommodate business needs.$259,659 -
$297,194 a yearFor residents of CA, WA, NY, and CO, the pay range
for this position is $259,000-$297,000. This range reflects the
minimum and maximum base salary for this position plus any variable
earnings, if applicable to the position. The individual
compensation may be dependent on a variety of factors, such as
geographic location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience, and performance.Should you accept this position, you
must consent to and pass a Background Investigation, which includes
(subject to country law), extended education, and additional
criminal and civil checks.We offer a competitive salary and
