Travel Percentage : 1 - 5%Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesThe
primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not
limited to:Team Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a geographically dispersed team of travel
professionals.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities
including regular performance reviews.End-to-End Travel Supply
Chain Optimization
- Analyze, develop and streamline travel-related processes across
the supply chain, identifying areas for cost reduction, improved
service levels, and risk mitigation across global regions
- Build and embed a target travel operating model, bringing
together internal and external professionals.
- Enable and run centers of excellence and self-service
technologies to support T&E Plus capabilitiesSupplier
Management and Strategic Partnerships
- In close coordination with Category Management:
- Drive the sourcing and selection efforts of strategic travel
partners and suppliers (e.g. Travel Management Company (OBT),
travel technology, airlines, lodging, ground transportation,
etc)
- Negotiate agreements and align supplier objectives with FIS
long-term goals, setting standards, SLAs, and KPIs for service
delivery
- Conduct analysis of spend to identify savings opportunities by
leveraging a sophisticated mix of supply, demand, and cost category
management levers
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
to foster innovation, performance, and alignment with FIS travel
policy
- Leverage market and industry intelligence, trends, innovation
and best practices
- Work with suppliers to introduce innovative solutions that
improve traveler experience, such as digital tools, premium
services, and tailored offeringsProgram Delivery and Stakeholder
Relationship Management:
- Lead and operate the Global Travel Center of Excellence
(CoE)
- Oversee end-to-end supplier performance across the travel
ecosystem / supply chain ensuring smooth operations and
delivery
- Develop KPIs to measure cost control, service quality and
program performance
- Manage TMCs relationship:
- Track suppliers' compliance with quality controls and SLAs
management to ensure smooth travel operations
- Address service issues and oversee supplier adherence to
operational requirements including travel technology, reporting,
etc.
- Track and manage monthly invoicing
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, Risk, and other departments
to ensure duty of care for employees and minimize risks associated
with travel supply chain disruption
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with upstream and
downstream functions (HR/TPO, Global Mobility, Finance, Tax
etc.)
- Develop workbooks, operations manuals, and contingency plans to
ensure consistency and continuity during disruptions or crises
- Drive the adoption of eco-friendly travel options and
innovative solutions that support responsible travel practices
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders ensuring service
requirements are met
- Develop and implement training programs for travelers and
arrangers
- Implement feedback mechanisms (Voice of the Customer) to gauge
traveler satisfaction, addressing any issues
- Enforce policy compliance at point-of-sale and provide pre-trip
reporting for behavioral analytics
- Qualifications:Education Minimum Requirement
- Bachelor's degree required, advance degree preferred
- Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of experience managing business travel programs, with
in-depth knowledge of TMCs, online booking tools, travel
technologies, T&E policies and strong background in strategic
sourcing, category management, and leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the external market and a continual
pursuit of knowledge to understand evolving best practices, new
technologies, advanced strategies and regulatory requirements to
support the goals of the function.
- Superior negotiation and collaboration skills to influence
senior leadership, business case value proposition and sourcing
recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to
engage and influence at all levels of the organization to drive and
manage change, gain buy-in, and build capabilities.--
- Excellent contract and vendor negotiation preparation and
execution skills to achieve desired outcomes from supplier
negotiations.
- Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal
skills

this full-time position is $167,780.00 - $281,870.00 and reflects
the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this
position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the
range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant
education or training. Any changes in work location will also
impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your
