Development for the Americas, you will be responsible for driving
sales and growth of our services and offerings. Your role will be
to identify and win opportunities for Design and Build projects in
the Americas, by positioning our brand and services within the
sector and by building long-term client relationships for continued
business.Our Unispace Corporate Interiors & Life Sciences offerings
are for commercial offices and the technical spaces (GMP
manufacturing, R&D, and Lab facilities). We offer full project
strategy, design, and construction in these spaces with proven
expertise and extensive experience globally. This role is to
penetrate the Americas market for both large multinational clients
and start-ups which need new or upgraded spaces to bring their
products to market.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of Strategy, Design, and Construction sales
growth strategy in the Americas.
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating
communications and conducting follow-up qualification in order to
move opportunities into and through the sales pipeline.
- Work with Design, Delivery, and Pursuits teams to put together
winning proposals and solutions for clients to secure projects and
deliver on sales targets.
- Support the continuous evolution, go-to-market plans, and
develop fresh and innovative approaches to identify and attract
target clients.
- Create and manage a sales pipeline with a focus on the Americas
Market and activities for RFPs and new clients.
- Work with Marketing & Communications to maximize client
impact.
- Collaborate with Global Sales Team and account managers to
identify and drive cross-regional opportunities with target
clients.
- Build relationships with C-level and purchasing executives at
key prospects in support of sales and growth activities.
- Build and increase industry knowledge and acumen to position
Unispace in the market.Key Measures:
- Sales metrics - overall sales target met.
- Acquisition of new clients and win rates.
- Projected revenues and profitability are met.
- Execute contracts prior to project commencement.
- Secures repeat client business.
- Client satisfaction in line with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated increased awareness of brand amongst target
clients locally.Key Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, architectural design,
engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of sales and market development (business
development) within the Corporate Interiors/Commercial Office
sector.
- Strategic sales experience in a similar industry (Design of
Life Science facilities/products/services, Architecture, Design &
Construction, Manufacturing).
- Extensive and proven knowledge of the Americas workplace market
highly desired.
- Experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical
related industry is a nice to have.
- Proven experience developing and delivering successful sales
strategies; proven results in running and closing on long sales
cycles.
- Understanding and knowledge of current and emerging market
trends.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication
skills; a relationship builder who can communicate persuasively,
articulately, and with impact.
- Maintain existing, and build new, strong relationships with key
stakeholders across the built environment industry.
- Extensive local market and industry knowledge.
- Effective lead generation and management.
- Open to travel to customers and prospects.Base Pay
Range:$180,000 - $230,000 USDThe statements in this job description
