of Revenue Cycle Management will oversee all aspects of the revenue
cycle, including billing operations, payer integrations,
collections, and denial management. This leadership role will focus
on optimizing revenue processes, ensuring compliance with
regulatory requirements, overseeing revenue cycle technology
vendors and fostering relationships with payers to maximize
reimbursements. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and
operational expertise to drive efficiencies and achieve financial
goals. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a
full-time role that is key to advancing our payer strategy and
revenue cycle operational excellence.This is a hybrid role based in
New York City. Minimal travel required.What you'll be
doing:Strategic Leadership
- Continue to develop and implement a comprehensive revenue cycle
management (RCM) strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities
for financial improvement and operational excellence.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for all RCM processes to assess
performance and drive improvements.Operational Oversight
- Lead and manage all billing operations, ensuring accurate and
timely claims submissions.
- Oversee collections, payment posting, denial management, and
appeals processes.
- Direct payer contract negotiations and integrations to optimize
reimbursement structures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific
regulations, including HIPAA and billing guidelines.Team Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing RCM and payer
operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and
excellence.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team
skills and knowledge.Technology & Process Improvement
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance revenue
cycle operations, such as billing software and payer integration
tools.
- Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to
increase efficiency and reduce errors.Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payers, addressing
escalations and fostering positive relationships.
- Partner with internal departments (e.g., finance, IT, clinical
operations, sales) to ensure alignment and support organizational
initiatives.What success looks like in this role:
- Improved Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Increased clean claims submission rates

- A thriving teamWhat we expect from you:
- 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, in
cross-functional high-growth startups and/or healthcare systems,
with deep expertise in operations, healthcare, and strategy.
- Greater NYC area-based and open to hybrid schedule.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare operations, claims
processes, and payer-provider relationships.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of
delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time.
- Collaborative leader who thrives in a culture of
accountability, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.
- Proven experience managing billing, payer integrations, and
denial management in a complex healthcare setting.
- Deep understanding of revenue cycle processes, including
coding, billing, collections, and payer contracting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance
requirements.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and
tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with
experience managing cross-functional teams.The target base salary
range for this position is $187,400 - $243,700, and is part of a
competitive total rewards package including stock options and
benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is
determined by a number of factors including experience, location,
internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We
review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using
Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure
