Job Purpose:
Directs and manages the timely completion, quality, and brand
requirements of creative projects. Ensures marketing and
organizational needs are met on time and on budget while managing
resources to achieve the best workflow and greatest efficiency.
Manages activities of the creative and design staff for marketing
projects, print or digital content and contributes to the design
process.
Job Summary:
Manages creative projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven
environment, working cross-departmentally, supporting and
collaborating cross-functionally. Delivers projects as efficiently
as possible to maximize direct internal and external communication
and profitability. Coaches and develops the creative and design
staff and their performance, results, and production output.
Essential Functions:Collaborates cross-departmentally with
cross-functional teams to manage and develop brand compliant,
multi-faceted projects and campaigns, promotional materials, and
marketing elements that align with the overall brand voice,
platform, and strategy to increase sales.
Manages, coaches, and develops the creative and design staff and
their performance, results and production output.
Organizes, prioritizes and takes accountability for workflows from
creative development through delivery of materials to print
production, digital/marketing, ecommerce and technology teams.
Acts as a liaison/communications hub between Marketing & Ecommerce
members and other stakeholders who may impact an assigned
project.
Maintains the status of new and ongoing projects via weekly reports
and project management systems. Creates detailed timing plans (from
creative development through delivery) and manages timing plans
throughout the life of each project.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Competencies:
Knowledge of: Marketing principles, branding strategies, and
consumer behavior; project management methodologies; design
principles, typography, color theory, and industry-standard design
software; digital marketing channels, including social media, email
marketing, and SEO. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
required.
Skill in: Leading and motivating teams, delegating tasks, and
providing clear direction; written and verbal communication to
present complex ideas clearly and concisely; problem-solving and
decision-making; managing multiple projects and deadlines
simultaneously; prioritizing tasks and managing workflows; using
industry-standard software, such as project management tools,
design software, and productivity tools.
Ability to: Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines; think
creatively and generate innovative ideas; pay close attention to
detail and ensure accuracy; build and maintain strong relationships
with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients; think strategically and
make informed decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design,
Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or
university. Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in -
- - - - in a creative or marketing role is essential. This
experience should include a proven track record of managing
creative projects, leading teams, and working with cross-functional
teams.
Marketing agency experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required, and Google
applications is a plus.
Must have an understanding of all production disciplines: print,
digital, and social media marketing.
Position is hybrid (minimum of three days a week in office).
Candidates must be able to commute to and from the offices in
Charlotte, NC.
