IT Asset Management Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist to manage software licenses and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Define controls, processes, and procedures for effective software asset management
Monitor software usage and licenses to ensure compliance with agreements and regulations
Identify and mitigate risks related to software licensing non-compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
Expertise in IT asset management, software usage rights, and contractual terms
Mastery of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Costpoint, and ServiceNow SAMPro
Strong knowledge of IT asset management practices, including license remediation, reconciliation, and harvesting
Preference for candidates with ServiceNow SAMPro certification or IAITAM Asset Management certification
