It's no wonder 98% of patients report being fully satisfied with Upward Health!Job Title & Role Description:The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the successful completion of technology projects within Upward Health. This role involves planning, managing, and executing development of projects for teams across the Technology Department, assisting those teams with managing their backlogs and meeting high standards of quality. The Project Manager will work closely with various teams, including software engineers, data analysts, QA testers, and executives, to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of key initiatives. They will play a key role in facilitating communication and synergy between cross-functional teams and ensuring that projects meet the evolving needs of the business.--Skills Required:Proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects, including software development, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder goals. Leading and managing IT projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget.Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean to optimize project execution and team productivity.Proficiency in project management frameworks such as PMBOK and Six Sigma, applying these methodologies to ensure high-quality outcomes.Advanced technology proficiency, including experience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and other relevant project management software.Background in managing technology projects within regulated industries, understanding their specific challenges and compliance needs.Background in healthcare systems, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare IT and data standards is preferred.--Key Behaviors:Leadership:--Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, delegating tasks appropriately while ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration with a matrix of stakeholders.Organize and lead regular meetings to communicate relevant progress, milestones and drive groups to consensus-based decisions in a timely manner.Problem Solving & Decision-Making:--Strong ability to evaluate multiple options and make informed, effective decisions that ensure projects stay on track.Communication:--Clear and concise communication with all stakeholders, including team members, executives, and external partners, to maintain alignment and keep projects on course.Adaptability:--Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, schedules, and business needs while ensuring that projects remain aligned with organizational goals.Quality Focus:--Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of project delivery and being proactive in identifying and addressing issues before they arise.Developing and organizing detailed project artifacts, such as project plans, timelines and resource plans, across the lifecycle of software development.--Competencies:Project Execution:--Ability to manage both short-term and long-term project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving business needs.Stakeholder Management:--Proficient in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders and ensuring that the needs and objectives of all parties are effectively addressed.Cross-Functional Collaboration:--Skillful in facilitating communication and cooperation between teams from different departments (e.g., developers, analysts, QA, and business units) to ensure seamless project execution.Performance Optimization:--Strong focus on optimizing team performance through continuous feedback, process improvements, and velocity management.Resilience & Commitment:--Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining a strong work ethic, including willingness to work extended hours when necessary.--Upward Health is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
