Java Engineer, AVP, Trading SystemsLocation: New York CityAbout the RoleA leading Investment Bank requires multiple Java Engineers to join an expanding technology team specializing in developing cutting-edge pricing and risk tools used by Traders, Quants, and other front-office business users. The projects are a mixture of Greenfield and BAU functions.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance tools using Java.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and test trading tools.
• Develop high-performance messaging infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces for trading systems using React or similar technologies.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming, including multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency techniques.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
  • Experience with UI development using React or similar frameworks (a plus).
