Apply today!About the roleThe expected hourly rate for this position is $45.74.Job DutiesInstrumentation/Controls Technician working under the supervision of the I&C Supervisor is responsible for performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs of the plant instrumentation systems, control systems, computer systems and associated equipment.The I&C Technicians assignments can include, but not be limited to, preventive maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repair of generator instrumentation, control circuits, combustion control systems, drum level controls, CEM Equipment, PLC programming, computer control/logic, recorders and alarms.The I&C Technician will be capable of testing and troubleshooting pneumatic, electrical and electronic control equipment and components down to the individual printed circuit board elements or equivalent, as well as troubleshooting and repair of circuit breakers, motor control centers, generator, transformers, electrical metering, protective relays, and preventative maintenance. The I&C Technician will supplement the maintenance and operations staff as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.Job Requirements:The I&C Technician requires at least five (5) years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic devices, electrical and electronic systems and components.
