Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations in our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of raw materials, finished goods, and distribution while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:--- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, including procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution.--- Manage inventory levels to ensure a seamless supply of raw materials and on-time delivery of finished products.--- Oversee transportation logistics, including scheduling, routing, and carrier management, to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.--- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.--- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).--- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to align logistics operations with business goals.--- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.--- Analyze data to identify trends, solve logistical challenges, and implement process improvements.--- Manage and train logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.--- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.--- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and cost analysis.Requirements:--- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.--- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.--- Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations.--- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.--- Familiarity with food safety and regulatory compliance standards.--- Advanced skills in data analysis and logistics performance metrics.--- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.--- Strong leadership and team management skills.--- Effective communication and negotiation skills.--- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Why Join Us?--- Be part of a growing, innovative company in the food manufacturing industry.--- Opportunities for professional development and advancement.--- Competitive compensation and benefits package.Compensation details: 95000-115000 Yearly SalaryPIa8fa0cec8af7-25660-36310057
