inventory super easy. Since the company's inception in 2019, we've
been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders
and small business owners to more easily manage their company's
financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible
financing tools. We already work with some amazing brands that you
probably know and love, like Branch Furniture, Olipop, Truvani,
Starface, and Ghia.Working capital has the power to supercharge our
customers' growth; it isn't uncommon for our customers to achieve
10x growth while using Settle. We're looking for a dynamic Product
Manager to take the success of Settle's Working Capital product to
the next level. This includes everything from customer-facing
offerings to the loan servicing infrastructure, such as the loan
tape and ledger. This role requires working EST hours, with a
preference for candidates located in NYC.Your mission will be
twofold:
- Design, launch, and optimize top-tier lending products that
empower small businesses to scale.
- Build and expand the infrastructure that supports Settle's
lending products.To help you succeed, you'll work with a dedicated
engineering team, collaborate with experienced financial industry
professionals, and be supported by a top-tier Product department.
You'll also join a passionate, customer-focused team of designers,
developers, and product experts committed to helping entrepreneurs
and Settle reach new heights.What You'll Do:
- Identify opportunities that will improve key metrics for
Settle's Working Capital products.
- Collaborate on projects with key stakeholders like Capital
Markets, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Credit.
- Completely own the Working Capital roadmap.
- Work with a dedicated pod of engineers to execute on the
roadmap.
- Define KPIs to monitor progress, and work with Data and
Engineering teams to automate reporting and dashboarding.
- Contribute to Settle's product strategy as we expand our
product offerings.What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of product management experience working on b2b
lending products.
- A strong understanding of lending concepts.
- Located on the East Coast with the ability to travel to New
York frequently.
- Experience building a loan tape.
- Experience building an internal ledger or using an external
ledger.
- Previous experience building loan servicing products like early
repayment and underwriting.
- Ability to be resourceful and thrive in dynamic, rapidly
evolving environments.
- Basic SQL knowledge-you don't need to be a whiz!
- A hunger to make an impact on a fast-growing startup.Nice to
have:
- Commercial lending experience.
- Prior work in b2b SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or
payments.Compensation:This role has an annual starting salary range
of $150,000 - $160,000 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is
influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to
