Job Description:
A company is looking for a Telephonic Medical Case Manager in a
workers' compensation environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide telephonic outreach for assessment and follow-up case
communication and coordination
Conduct and document initial assessments and maintain regular
contact with involved parties to facilitate communication and
clinical case planning
Coordinate contact with providers, claimants, and claims examiners
while monitoring medical appointments and promoting positive
treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; nursing degree preferred
Current, unrestricted RN, LPN, or CCM license required
Three or more years of clinical experience in acute care
Two or more years of medical case management or managed care
experience, preferably in workers' compensation
Knowledge of utilization management and state workers' compensation
laws preferred
