This group is responsible for integrated Congress and Conventions strategy and execution of key conferences across the portfolio. This role is focused on leading congresses, conventions, program management and building Health Policy Advocacy in support of long-term strategy across the Oncology Franchise, while ensuring that the strategy and execution are reflective and inclusive of the Johnson and Johnson Oncology Portfolio Approach. This role will play a critical role collaborating with the Global Marketing, Global R&D, and US Cross Functional teams including Brand Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, Sales, Sales training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and Outside vendors to effectively execute key commercial activities.\rReporting to and working in partnership with the Sr. Director US Oncology Strategy & Operations Lead, this individual will lead the Congress & Conventions Management team and ensure operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for major Oncology Congresses.\r\rKey Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall E2E strategy for the Customer Experience & Congress and Conventions Management team across the Hematology and Solid Tumor portfolio
• Accountable for consistent congress experience for attendees through all pre-, peri-, and post- congress activities. It will support the International Congress Governance Committee and serve as a Congress Lead in activities such as communications, scheduling and coordination of meeting debriefs, collection of data for performance metric reviews.
• Lead conventions team across the Oncology Franchise to ensure that the strategy and execution are reflective and inclusive of the Johnson and Johnson US Oncology Portfolio Approach (including budget ownership and tracking)
• Operational Excellence: Accountable for delivery of key operational workstreams and execution of the Congress Excellence Framework. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement, through implementation of new policies, procedures, technology, or other resources that can evolve our current Congress and Convention Playbook, lead updates.
• Project Management: Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners and ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met. Provide thorough and timely communication to internal stakeholders and external partners. Accountable for meeting and events logistics (housing, registration, meeting rooms, calendar invites, everything related to selected congress and conventions).
• Cross-functional Coordination: Accountable for collaborating across the matrix and aligning on congress meeting priorities with Global Marketing, Global R&D, and US Cross Functional teams including Brand Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, Sales, Sales training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and Outside vendors to ensure aligned strategy and execution, identify barriers and execute solutions.
• Customer Experience: Responsible for identifying and implementing innovative, industry-leading practices to enable effective, consistent, and impactful customer stakeholder experiences at Key Oncology congresses. This individual will evaluate opportunities to drive innovation and operational excellence in how the US Oncology organization delivers on external engagements. This individual will assess the current tools and resources used to execute key meetings, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and lead the evaluation of new or additional resources.
• Partner with Health Policy Advocacy in support of Johnson & Johnson long term strategy with relevant associations.
• Evolve the US Oncology Conventions Hub, to become and integrated one stop shop for US Oncology
• Develop skillset in numerous marketing competencies along with leadership opportunities that help increase exposure to all areas of the business
