Summary:Grayscale is seeking an accomplished Vice President,
Communications to lead and elevate the communications function,
ensuring alignment with our mission, values, and business goals.
This role demands a strategic leader who can balance high-level
messaging with operational execution, delivering impactful
corporate communications across internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in corporate
communications, public relations, and executive support, with a
proven ability to manage complex messaging across global markets
and evolving platforms.Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive corporate communications
strategy that aligns with business objectives, enhances brand
reputation, and drives stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as the principal communications advisor to the CEO and
Leadership Team, providing strategic counsel on messaging, external
visibility, and reputation management.
- Act as Grayscale's spokesperson, maintaining strong
relationships with top-tier media outlets and serving as a trusted
point of contact for press, analysts, and industry
influencers.
- Design and implement executive communication programs,
including keynote speeches, thought leadership articles, and social
media strategies to enhance leadership visibility and
credibility.
- Oversee crisis communications and issues management, ensuring a
rapid and thoughtful response to mitigate risks and protect the
company's reputation.
- Partner with internal teams to craft compelling content across
multiple platforms, including blogs, press releases, white papers,
internal newsletters, and investor communications.
- Lead proactive media and public relations initiatives, securing
high-impact coverage in national and international outlets while
managing reactive communications with agility and
professionalism.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and media
narratives to identify opportunities and risks, providing
data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, HR,
Product, and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging across all
touchpoints, both internal and external.
- Foster a high-performance communications team by mentoring and
developing talent, setting clear goals, and promoting a culture of
excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of
communications initiatives and deliver actionable insights to
enhance future efforts.Prior Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations,
Journalism, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate
communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least
5 years in a leadership role within Asset Management or Financial
Services.
- Proven ability to design and execute global communications
strategies that drive business impact.
- Deep experience in media relations, including a strong network
of relationships with journalists, analysts, and industry
influencers.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and storytelling skills, with
the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling
narratives.
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to inspire
confidence and build trust with internal and external
stakeholders.
- Proficient in leveraging analytics and data to measure and
improve communications performance.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Asset Management and/or Financial Services
preferred.
- Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
preferred.
