Job Description:
A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical
responsible for designing and implementing capacity on the existing
DWDM network.
Key Responsibilities
Design planning and capacity fulfillment across U.S. and Canadian
networks
Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements
to customers
Maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the project
management database
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of Telecommunications and/or data networking
experience
Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs
Experience with optical systems such as Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco,
Infinera, and Nokia
Familiarity with project management software and telecom inventory
systems
