Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Substation Engineer to join
their team in Syracuse, New York.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in project development by defining customer needs and
planning projects
Serve as an expert advisor on technical issues to project personnel
and management
Develop scopes of work, conceptual designs, and execution plans for
substation projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an
accredited university
8+ years of professional experience in substation design for
electrical utilities
Ability to perform engineering responsibilities with minimal
supervision
Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and
procedures
Experience in mentoring less experienced team members
