What you'll do:
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, and compliance. You will also manage a team and provide guidance on complex tax issues.
You will have the opportunity to:Strategize with Client & Team on Tax Planning Solutions
Project Tax Implications of Investment & Tax Strategies
Provide Year-Round Tax Planning Guidance
Coach Clients on Tax Plan Implementation
Review Staff-Level Tax Returns
Take Ownership of Client Relationships, Prepare Status Tracking and Tax Completion
Research complex tax matters to summarize results and propose resolutions


What you'll bring:CPA certification
Advanced degree in Taxation a plus
At least 5 years of experience in public accounting (mid-sized CPA/Accounting firm)
Extensive, hands-on experience in tax preparation and planning
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and laws
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience with CCH ProSystem tax software a plus and MS Excel
Experience with QuickBooks a plus
