Systems.BAE Systems is seeking a New Product Technician at our
Product Introduction Facilities (PIF) in our Greenlawn, NY site.
The successful candidate will perform complex assembly or
modification tasks from engineering design drawings, diagrams,
schematics, or written instructions to build subassemblies,
electro-mechanical assemblies, and Special Test Equipment (STE).
Tasks typically performed include non-routine and non-repetitive
production of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical
assemblies following established methods and procedures.Expected
skills include:
- Soldering of through hole and surface mount components, jumpers
and complex wiring on circuit card assemblies and other
electro-mechanical devices.
- Performs complex assembly or modification of cable & harness
assemblies using diagrams, schematics and wire lists as well as
construct RF cable assemblies. Required Education, Experience, &
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have 4-5 or more years of manufacturing assembly
experience with military/aerospace hardware.
- Must have the ability to read prints, process sheets,
schematics and other related documentation used for manufacturing
complex assemblies and subassemblies.
- ------------Organized and can assemble, disassemble and modify
various production subassemblies and can inspect results to ensure
conformance to IPC-610/620 standards.Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and supporting development
products.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78960 -
$126360Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
