Department Summary

Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated reports on key results and performance metrics to support and improve business decisions
• Provide in-depth analytical analysis of programmatic buying habits
• Leverage first-party data and viewership patterns to maximize yield
• Build financial models for new partnerships
• Key point of contact for sales team assessing deal viability & optimizations
• Monitor and report on large scale initiatives
• Continuously analyze areas to detect where processes are breaking down to mitigate inventory/demand waste
  Skills, Experience and Requirements
  
  Education and Experience:
  
  • BS/BA degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in media industry
    
    Skills and Qualifications:
    
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Accounting or finance degree or work experience a plus
    • Enthusiasm for complex problem-solving through financial modeling, data analysis and other statistical modeling
    • SQL and visualization tools (i.e. Periscope, Looker, Tableau)
    • Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple tasks at a rapid pace
    • Flexibility and willingness to pivot to new priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Genuine curiosity, keen attention to detail, and strong desire to contribute to the success of the team through data-driven analysis
    • Passionate consumer of TV and entertainment
    • Strategic and critical thinking skills, and an ability to assist managers with execution.
    • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail, accuracy and conciseness.

      Salary Ranges
      
      Compensation: $62,847.50/Year - $89,815.00/Year

      The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
