Job Description:

Veterinary Technician wanted for holistic/ integrative practice in Chadds Ford, PA. Looking for an experienced veterinary technician to assist with Saturday morning appointments. Hours: 7:30 am - noon. Hourly rate negotiable based on experienced $22 +/hr Candidates must be proficient in venipuncture, jugular blood draws, and IV catheter placement. Veterinary Technician Responsibilities: Triaging patients and taking their vitals. Assisting with diagnostic procedures. Acquiring cephalic, saphenous, and jugular blood samples. Inserting IV catheters, and monitoring anesthesia, and fluid therapy. Operating autoclaves and in-house laboratory equipment Processing specimens in the in-house laboratory and submitting specimens to outside laboratories. Explaining patient instructions to clients and sharing educational materials, when appropriate Veterinary Technician Requirements: Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an accredited school. 2+ years of work experience as a veterinary technician. Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Cornerstone software is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Passionate about animals. Outstanding people skills. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Team player.
