GENERAL PURPOSE Responsible for monitoring the inventory accuracy
level of the raw materials warehouse and work-in process area by
performing daily cycle count verifications, audits, and other
inventory investigations. Identify and correct errors, seeking out
the causes and taking corrective action. Ensure that the database
is reflecting accurate information as it relates to materials.
Perform a frontline leadership role in support of manufacturing
associates in assigned work area; within the defined team or area -
lead and coordinate associate activities and operation. Ensure that
associates are working safely, efficiently and the production
schedule is adhered to. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Analyze the situation
and suggest corrective course of action. Ensure proper transactions
are done in processing of work orders, deviations, material
transfers, transport request, and other documents Interact and
communicate daily with the warehouse and production personnel,
schedulers, work team leaders and procurement personnel concerning
inventory discrepancies. Participate in process improvement.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve
business objectives. Perform, confirm and resolve all cycle count
discrepancies on a daily basis. (Majority of time will be spent
counting and verifying). Report on inventory/database information
to support plant goals. Research and correct inventory records when
reported by production and/or receiving such as research and
verification of packing slips. Analyze the situation and suggest
corrective course of action. Ensure proper transactions are done in
processing of work orders, deviations, material transfers,
transport request, and other documents Interact and communicate
daily with the warehouse and production personnel, schedulers, work
team leaders and procurement personnel concerning inventory
discrepancies. Participate in process improvement. Perform

requested to achieve business objectives. Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing
department, and applicable outside vendors. Basic understanding of
inventory control procedures. Proficient keyboarding skills.
Detailed oriented, organized and able to work with minimum
supervision. Ability to develop professional relationships with
internal and external customers. Ability to perform basic math
calculations. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a
computer. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Must be
able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with computerized inventory systems required. Forklift
