Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Consultant to analyze health benefit plans and assess risks.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and assess risks related to frequency and severity of loss
Utilize underwriting criteria to provide proper rating methodologies and build economic analysis models
Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analysis and trends

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in healthcare underwriting for various products (PPO, HMO, self-funded, etc.)
5+ years of experience with Risk Management
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
