Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to improve
data quality and implement governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement data governance processes, standards, and
procedures with data owners and custodians
Perform SQL-based data analysis, including querying, cleaning, and
transforming data to support governance efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document data inventory,
definitions, and mappings for data quality rules
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data
Processing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data management,
or a related field
Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and
database design with hands-on SQL experience
Experience with MS SQL Server, Azure Cloud Data Storage, and
advanced Excel for data analysis
Knowledge of metadata management tools and data integration/ETL
processes
