DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect with a
strong background in Java and healthcare domain expertise to join
our team. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable,
secure, and innovative solutions that meet the unique challenges of
healthcare systems. This role requires a deep understanding of
healthcare standards, compliance regulations, and interoperability
requirements, combined with technical prowess in Java-based
architectures.Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectural solutions using Java-based
frameworks, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to
align technical solutions with business requirements in the
healthcare domain.
- Architect scalable, resilient, and secure systems that comply
with healthcare standards like HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and other
regulatory frameworks.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
on best practices, code quality, and system architecture.
- Lead design sessions, review design documents, and conduct code
reviews to ensure high standards and adherence to architecture
principles.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering
and architecture, including DevOps, CI/CD, and
containerization.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate
healthcare systems and ensure interoperability between Electronic
Health Records (EHRs), Practice Management Systems (PMS), and other
healthcare applications.
- Design solutions for data exchange between healthcare systems,
ensuring data integrity, privacy, and security.
- Stay updated on healthcare technology trends, standards, and
regulatory requirements.
- Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather and translate
business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document architecture and provide regular updates to
stakeholders on project progress, risks, and technical
challenges.
- Ensure architectural solutions meet current and future needs,
planning for scalability, maintenance, and technological
evolution.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry
regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Design systems with built-in auditing, logging, and monitoring
to meet healthcare industry standards.Required Skills and
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in software development, with at least 3+
years in an architectural or senior engineering role in the
healthcare domain.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java and Java-based frameworks (Spring,
Spring Boot).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud),
containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices
architecture.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SOAP, and experience with
healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
- Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes
specific to healthcare data.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health
Information Exchanges (HIE), and other healthcare
applications.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
(HIPAA, GDPR).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with
cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred
Qualifications
- Certifications: Certifications in solutions architecture (AWS
Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) or
healthcare IT certifications (CPHIMS, CAHIMS).
- Additional Experience: Experience with data analytics, machine
learning, or AI solutions in healthcare.
