Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, primarily
responsible for providing business legal advice to various business
lines within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and resolve regulatory and legal matters
affecting the business
Assist in counseling business groups on strategic initiatives and
new product development
Develop best practices and policies for addressing legal and
business risks
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
Juris Doctorate degree and Bar admission in good standing in at
least one U.S. State
8+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer with law firm and/or
in-house experience
Knowledge of state and federal health care and related laws
Demonstrated understanding of business problems related to assigned
legal projects
