This individual will work to rapidly implement innovative solutions to streamline decision making, data availability, analytics, and client reporting. Additionally, the Senior Front Office Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and will partner with other technologists to design and implement sustainable systems to facilitate rapid scale and exceptional functionality.Primary Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software and scripts to support our business goals
• Collaborate with the business and development teams to understand our data and processes
• Partner with financial professionals on creating flexible systems that are both stable and provide transparency of business logicRequired Qualification and Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical role in financial services
  • Relevant technical university degree
  • Experience in object-oriented programming and relational databases
  • Professional experience with relational databases and Python/Pandas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
  • Results oriented and commercial
  • Understanding of REST APIs and software design principlesPreferred Qualification and Experience
    • Experience with fixed income analytics, mortgage analytics, or financial risk
    • Experience with loan finance and credit markets
    • Excel Power User
    • Understanding of statistics and machine learning*Position will be based in person within the New York City Metro region. Remote work option not offered.Base Salary Range$175,000-$225,000The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location.
