Immediate long-term contract opportunity for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Technical Integration Engineering Architect with direct client in New York, NY.

Description:

This position will serve to reinforce the ERP project's capacity in respect of the ongoing design, build, deployment, maintenance and optimization of the client's SAP ERP system covering SAP Cloud applications and solutions utilizing industry best practices, specifically SAC [Cloud Analytics].

Reporting to the ERP staff, the SAC specialist will provide architecture and design assessment for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation project which includes integration of on-premise SAP HANA and BW systems with SAC Cloud instance for live reporting, inter alia.

Scope of functional duties by focus area:
--- Design of the requisite Technical Integration Architecture in order to implement SAP Cloud products/service platforms with the UN-ERP implementation [its SAP-based suite of On-premise Landscapes and Applications]:
--- Co-produce a project plan and a blueprint for the SAC implementation by the UN/ERP , taking into account relevant SAP technical aspects, systemic considerations and the approved business requirements. Said planning blueprint will include a roadmap with activities in a timeline concerning the main development phases, starting by Design and the technical architecture integration map that will consider all required components for implementation, including in respect of data and security frameworks, leading to the end of the project deliverables, such as Digital boardrooms.
--- Recommend best practices in respect of the specific configuration of SAP Analytic Cloud for implementation by the UN ERP's in alignment to its On-premise architecture so as to maximize optimal integration, high performance and stability of the SAC implementation.
--- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and other relevant documentation regarding the above, in particular the technical integration architecture, the configuration of the SAP Analytics Cloud, the set up decisions, the security configuration and the procedures for the administration of the application from a full life-cycle management perspective, including with respect to performance monitoring and auditing requirements.

--- Engineering set-up of SAC, including the Digital Boardroom:
--- Focal point for the co-design and execution of setup and configuration of SAC and of the Digital Boardrooms, including, prototyping, configuration map, performance testing plan and roll out activities, all in accordance with the approved architecture plan.
--- Co-design and execute the setup configuration of the Security for SAC, in coordination with the ERP's Security and other teams, as per the project plan.
--- Provide necessary guidance and support to the project technical teams in establishing secure connectivity with SAC for both direct and import data connection scenarios, as well as in respect of the integration between identify and service providers.

--- Advisory role in respect of maximization of SAC functionality features, specifically concerning:
--- visualization [such as stories for customer's business KPI's; etc.]
--- Machine learning algorithms
--- SAC functionality features such as Smart Insight, Search to Insights, Smart Discovery, Smart Predictive, Natural language, advanced visualization, etc.

Qualifications and experience:
--- Over 14+ years of experience on SAP BI and Analytics work including specific SAC Cloud expertise, encompassing:
--- Experience with integration of SAP On-premise and SAP Cloud solutions.
--- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics technologies, including SAP BW, HANA, BODS, BOBJ, SLT and SAP Analytics for Cloud with ability to improve the suite of BI/Analytics solution in SAP.
--- Experience with architecture design and technical set up of SAC with at least one full life cycle end-to-end implementation experience of SAC
--- Experience with security architecture for SAC and related cloud and on-premise solutions.
--- At least one end-to-end implementation of Digital Boardroom with Predictive analytics
--- Experience on Machine learning algorithms is desirable.
