Technical Architect (Salesforce)Location: United States (Fully

goals.SummaryThunder's Technical Architect (TA) is a strategic
partner in technical delivery and pre-sales engagements. You'll
work closely with customers' technology and business leaders to
develop Salesforce strategies that align with their objectives. In
pre-sales, you'll collaborate with the sales team to craft
compelling demonstrations, create high-level solution designs, and
articulate the technical feasibility of our recommendations.Your
role will extend to designing and executing scalable solutions,
guiding technical decision-making, and ensuring exceptional project
outcomes.Roles + ResponsibilitiesThe ideal TA will have a proven
track record in pre-sales, technical consulting, and Salesforce
architecture. You serve as a Technical leader for customer
engagements, simplifying complex technical concepts for
non-technical audiences while inspiring trust and excitement in the
Salesforce platform.Here's your chance to showcase your grit and
help define how technical architecture can be delivered
differently, focused on digging deep to solve customer problems as
much as technical problems.
- Pre-Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to present
innovative Salesforce solutions to prospects, conduct technical
discovery sessions, and build trust with potential clients.
- Solution Design: Translate business needs into robust
Salesforce architectures, ensuring scalability and alignment with
customer goals.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate mastery in system design,
Salesforce development (Apex, Flows, Lightning Components), and API
integration. Ensure that the project systems meet the expectations
of the client's business, that proper testing is conducted, and
performance is monitored by overseeing the development team.
- Leadership: Mentor development teams, enforce best practices,
and ensure the quality of deliverables. Help to define and enforce
coding and documentation standards at Thunder.
- Collaboration: Align closely with sales, project management,
and technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from
pre-sales through delivery. Partner with offshore and nearshore
resources to conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and
clarify design decisions.
- Continuous Learning: Remain current on Salesforce products and
technical capabilities. Demonstrate thought leadership through blog
writing, public speaking, and client presentations.Required
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of technical or consulting experience within the
Salesforce ecosystem, specifically as an architect, solution
engineer, IT consultant, or developer in a customer-facing role
that provided differentiated software technology solutions.
- 2+ years experience as a Technical Architect or Technical
Consulting Lead, supporting in a Pre-Sales capacity.
- Expert in custom and managed-package API integrations (RESTful
+ SOAP).
- Proven implementation using Salesforce Integration
Patterns.
- Expertise in data modeling and complex data migrations.
- Active Salesforce certifications and willingness to achieve
additional certifications on emerging technologies.
- Required: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and
at least 2-3 out of the following Strongly recommended
