Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Developer to support
public health projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy bioinformatics data pipelines and
workflows using open-source languages and platforms
Perform computational analysis, including quality control, genome
assembly, and variant detection on diverse genomic data
Lead training sessions for users on bioinformatics tools and
provide support in data analysis
Required Qualifications
A master's degree in bioinformatics, genomics, molecular biology,
genetics, or a related field with 2+ years of experience
Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and workflow management
systems, such as Nextflow
Experience in Linux environments and high-performance computing
settings
Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, R, and Bash
US Citizen or Green Card holder with the ability to obtain a NACI
clearance
