contacted.---------------------Summary:Part-time (approx. 10 to 25
hours per week), located at our Pocono Camus in Tannersville, PA.
Math tutors help students with math disciplines from Pre-Algebra to
Calculus I and above. Computer tutors help students with C++
programming and/or Intermediate MS Office. The ability to tutor
multiple disciplines is desirable.Tutors support student success by
utilizing a personalized approach to help each student gain a
deeper understanding of course material, devise effective learning
strategies, engage in critical thinking, and acquire additional
academic skills in order to help the student reach educational
goals. Tutors may meet with students on an individual or small
group basis on campus and/or online. Tutors are provided with
College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training and are
expected to obtain certification within one year of employment.
Tutors are also expected to participate in staff meetings and
ongoing professional development activities, promptly respond to
correspondence from Learning Center staff, and maintain complete
and accurate records. Additional responsibilities may be
