We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medicaid Systems
Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be
responsible for managing and supporting various Medicaid systems
including WMS, eMedNY, TABS, PHRED, WARM, AIA, and Microsoft Office
applications. You will help troubleshoot Medicaid billing issues,
train staff on system usage, and ensure smooth operational
processes within the state of New York government agency team.If

Duties
- The role involves working closely with other internal
departments and external agencies to ensure compliance with
Medicaid billing procedures.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to Medicaid
billing, including coverage gaps, coding errors, and incorrect
billing codes.
- Assist voluntary agencies in resolving basic Medicaid billing
issues, ensuring accurate coding and documentation.
- Train staff on Medicaid systems (WMS, eMedNY, TABS, PHRED,
WARM, AIA) and related processes.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
Outlook) and Crystal Report Designer.
- Prepare professional correspondence, forms, and other documents
using information from proprietary databases and files.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry.
- Assist in resolving and tracking outstanding
documentation.
- Work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment,
maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.What
We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicaid systems, including
WMS, eMedNY, TABS, PHRED, WARM, AIA, and Microsoft Office
applications.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid billing and coding
processes.
- Ability to train others and assist with troubleshooting
Medicaid billing issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,
and Crystal Report Designer).
- 35 WPM typing speed.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work in a team, and maintain
confidentiality.
- Ability to perform general office duties such as filing,
answering phones, and handling mail.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Microsoft Office or the ability to perform
mail merges and other Office type necessary functions.
- Notary certification (helpful but not required).Exciting
Opportunity Details
- Rate: $26.00 per hour
- Length of engagement: 1 year with potential for extension.
- Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (37.5 hours
per week).
- Location: Thiells, NY (10984).
- Additional information: This is a full-time contract position
expected to last for 1 year, with the possibility of
