Voyage - Apply Now Get to Know the Opportunity: Reporting to the
Head of ESG Investment Research, the ESG Quantitative Analyst /
Developer will create automated solutions to manage and deliver ESG
information and analytics to the investment teams. The ESG
Quantitative Analyst / Developer will lead the continued design and
buildout of our ESG Web Application, which will be used to access
ESG data, research insights, and scores, and facilitate portfolio
analytics and reporting. In addition to these responsibilities, the
ESG Quantitative Analyst / Developer will apply quantitative
research methods to ESG data to develop insights with proven
investment value. The Contributions You'll Make:o Automated
delivery of ESG information and analytics to the investment teams,
by continuing the buildout of our ESG Web Application. o Assist
with complex ESG portfolio reporting needs, aggregating data from
multiple sources and creating asset-class specific solutions,
including private assets. o Lead the ingestion and synthesis of
data, coming from multiple vendors, into our proprietary scorecard
and guiding implementation through IT. o Collaborate on ESG
research projects, spanning thematic screening and development of
ESG quantitative insights, including factor back-testing. o Stay
abreast of new ESG datasets and emerging sustainability topics and
trends. Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in quantitative modelling and/or
full-stack development in an asset management setting
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline with a strong
academic background in a technically oriented field (Computer
Science, Engineering, or related discipline). Advanced degree in a
scientific field a plus.
- Strong object-oriented computer programming skills in Python,
R, Java, C++, or similar
- Experience in web development, using applications such as
Voila, Dash, Julia, Streamlit, HTML, CSS.
- Very comfortable interfacing with SQL databases, flat files,
data APIs, etc.
- Interest in working with ESG data sets or
alternative/unstructured data
- Familiarity with system architecture and cloud infrastructure
to facilitate discussions with IT
- Familiarity with market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg,
Aladdin, Factset) a plus
- Ability to transform raw data into insights that drive
investment decisions, using data analytics, data visualization, and
data modeling techniques and technologies
- Basic understanding of fundamental research and financial
statement modeling; progress toward CFA is a plus
- A curious, creative mind with a collaborative, problem-solving

responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the
expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s)
listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive
opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives,
and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the
achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this
salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work
within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya
Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual
compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based
upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience,
education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be
finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will
be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be
