Immediate long-term contract opportunity for SAP Basis BTP and Analytics Cloud (SAC) Technical Architect with direct client in New York, NY.

Description:

This position will serve to reinforce the ERP project's capacity in respect of the ongoing design, build, deployment, maintenance and optimization of the client's SAP ERP system covering SAP Cloud applications and solutions utilizing industry best practices, specifically BTP and SAC [Cloud Analytics].

Reporting to ERP staff, the BTP/SAC/BDOS Basis specialist will provide architecture and design assessment for BTP implementation project as well as Production support for SAC and BODS applications.

Main task areas:

Design of Technical Integration Architecture to implement SAP BTP Cloud products/service platforms with the ERP's SAP On-premise Landscapes and Applications:
--- Co-produce a project planning blueprint for the BTP implementation by the ERP including Design, technical architecture integration and other related components and requirements for implementation including Workzone, DataSphere and Integration Suites.
--- Recommend best practices in respect of the configuration of SAP BTP Cloud services, considering the overall on-premise architecture of the client/ERP for optimal integration, high performance and stability.
--- Develop standard operating procedures and other relevant documentation regarding the above, including technical configuration of the SAP BTP services, set up decisions, security configuration and administration of the application from a full life-cycle management perspective, including performance monitoring and auditing requirements

Support SAC and BODS Environments
--- Focal point for the execution of setup and configuration of SAC live and import data connections with backend SAP systems as well products in the cloud.
--- Provide day to day support for BODS data load operation, including integration of BODS with external DBs.
--- Provide necessary guidance and support to the project technical teams for new system specific setup requirements and possible application upgrades.

Qualifications and experience:
--- Over 14+ years of experience on SAP Basis work including specific BTP, SAC Cloud expertise, encompassing:
--- Experience with integration of on-premise and SAP Cloud solutions (BTP and SAC).
--- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP reporting system technologies, including SAP BW, HANA, BODS, BOBJ, SLT and SAP Analytics for Cloud with ability to improve the suite of BI/Analytics solution in SAP.
--- Hands on administration experience of SAP BODS.
--- 15+ years of SAP Basis and infrastructure administration experience.
