Join our team today!Job SummaryThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for performing daily payroll operations.Responsibilities

• Maintain and document all payroll records
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Reconcile and validate payroll prior to transmission
• Understand proper taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
• Process and monitor garnishment orders and other deductions that impact payroll specifications
• Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
• Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll checks
• Assist with year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc)
• Process manual checks
• Review data/files received from HR
• Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
• Address employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries and concernsQualifications
  • Associates Degree with an additional 3 years of experience and/or
  • BS/BA in business, accounting or relevant experience and 2 years of experience
  • Must have experience with processing payroll
  • Must have experience with timekeeping
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
