What you'll do:

• As a cold line cook, you'll manage a vast and diverse section spanning traditional Italian desserts to seasonal salads to fritto misto. This is the best place to start as a cook at Jupiter to build a strong core foundation in our style of cookery. Plus, you'll be stationed at the forefront of our classic open kitchen in a brand new restaurant in NY's famous Rockefeller Center. Especially exciting when the famous Christmas tree goes up in November
• Learn how to plate pastries, perfectly season salads, safely handle a deep fat fryer, and how to balance volume with high quality output.
• Collaborate with other chefs and managers on ergonomics, prep, set-up/break-down, and inventory. We are always interested in learning from your experiences and teaching you our best practices.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of our menu and the culinary traditions that inspire us.
