  • Job Details
  • A hospital near the New York City area is in need of an ER RN to work a 13 week travel assignment.
  • The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts.
    • Job Requirements
    • BSN required.
    • RN will be required to get a CPI prior to start.
    • FLU AND COVID REQUIRED - NO EXEMPTIONS.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts: 7a-7p, 11a-11pm, 7p-7a.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
      • Holidays: One eve and one day off for a winter and a summer holiday.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Emergency Department with Fast Track & a designated pediatric area.
        • # beds: 58 rooms--38 are actual rooms and 20 are virtual, 12 are in the fast track area.
        • Ratios: 6-8 to 1 (zone nursing).
        • EMR: Meditech.
        • Charge Nurse: Unit leader or Charge Nurse and they do not take assignments.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NIHSS, PALS.
          • Minimum $1.25 an hour for parking.
          • Fast track is 9am-11pm; 930am-930pm staff triage; busiest ER in the county, very busy ER, have done a lot of throughput initiatives.
          • Must have some vents experience, entitle CO2, and computer skills.
          • Peds ER experience a HUGE plus.
