• Employment Type: Local ContractDuties: --- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist --- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines --- The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases --- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist --- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures --- Strong communication skills using closed loop communication --- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load --- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons --- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system --- Groin management post intervention --- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment --- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures --- Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)--- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities. Skills: 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.Required Education: -High School Diploma/GED. -Associate degree. OR-Completion of accredited radiographic program. Required Certifications & Licensure: -NJ radiographic licensure. -BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures. -Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT. 5-days a week; shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements.MetaSense, Inc.
