WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Bronx, New York.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Local ContractOur client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team at a Community Health facility in the Bronx. This is a temp to perm role.--Job Function:
  
  • Day shift
    
  • 9a-5:30p, 8hr - 5 days per week
    
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed, including facilitating access to inpatient facilities for behavioral health care.
    
  • Provides 80 percent of treatment contacts in the community, including leading groups when clinically indicated.
    
  • Ensures all documentations are completed in a timely manner and remain in compliance with agency and OMH regulations.
    
  • Coordinate services with other specialist on the ACT Team, i.e. Psychiatrist, Substance Use.
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • State of New York Registered Nurse Licensure
      
    • CPR/First Aid Certification
      
    • Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, education level, and socio-economic status.
      
    • Candidate must have 2 --years of psych RN experience
