Location: Parkdale Pharmacy, NY Schedule: Part-time (Fridays only), 9am - 7pm. Job Description: Parkdale Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis, working full days on Fridays (9am - 7pm). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications. Responsibilities: Review and execute physician's prescriptions while checking their appropriateness and legality. Ensure medications are stored properly and pharmacy environment is organized. Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling to ensure safe and effective use of medications. Manage medication inventory and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Requirements: Valid Pharmacist license in New York State. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school. Proven experience as a retail pharmacist. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and electronic health records. Skills: In-depth knowledge of drug administration and health & safety guidelines. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
