Job Description:
A company is looking for an Oncology Data Specialist to support
cancer programs through data collection and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and report data on patients diagnosed with or
treated for cancer
Ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons Commission on
Cancer standards
Maintain follow-up rates for analytic cases and manage quality
control of the Cancer Registry
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Oncology Data Specialist certification preferred or ability to
obtain within two years of hire
One to two years of hospital-based cancer registry or related
experience preferred
Familiarity with METRIQ, MOSAIQ, ARIA, EPIC, and MS Office
preferred
