York City is shared)What You Will DoIn this vital role, you will
interact with healthcare thought leaders to communicate and advance
the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen's corporate goals and
objectives. The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will interact with
Oncology Healthcare Decision Makers to communicate and advance the
scientific platform. This is a field-based position in the Oncology
therapeutic area within Amgen Medical Affairs, providing support
for the solid tumor portfolio, primarily focused on thoracic
malignancies. The Sr. MSL is integral in assuring accurate, clear,
and valued information regarding our scientific platform is
communicated to multiple levels within the medical community. The
successful Sr. MSL will communicate complex cutting-edge scientific
information and research concepts to healthcare decision makers,
including but not limited to those at Community practices and
Academic Medical Centers.The Sr. MSL will:
- Foster scientific relationships between Amgen and key Opinion
Leaders and/or Healthcare Professionals in the field.
- Provide feedback based on field interactions with healthcare
thought leaders to Amgen stakeholders to help drive medical
strategy.
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and respond to requests for
investigator-sponsored research proposals.
- Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and
formulary decision makers.
- Provide scientific support, consistent with the MSL compliance
standards, for commercial, corporate accounts, and other matrix
colleagues who may forward HCP inquiries.
- Lead and/or participate on committees or project teams that
support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL
leadership.
- Mentor other MSLs as designated by MSL leadership.
- Seek out opportunities to support the MSL value proposition,
achieve results, and set an example for others to follow by
consistently demonstrating Amgen Values and Leadership
Attributes.
- Demonstrate tact and professionalism when communicating and
interacting with others.

partner with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experienceOR
- Masters degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experienceOR
- Bachelors degree & 8 years of Medical Affairs
experiencePreferred Qualifications
- PharmD., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (Other Doctoral Degrees
considered) with 7 or more years of experience in a medically
related field, including 1 or more years focused on clinical
practice, clinical research, or medical research. Experience in a
medically related field can include post-doctoral training (e.g.
residencies and/or fellowships).
- 3+ years in a medical science liaison role in a biotech or
pharmaceutical company.
- Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at
a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Oncology therapeutic area expertise in solid tumor.
- Experience within designated territory.What you can expect of

expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding
Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several
factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience,
