network. Packaging can be configured to hold a single product, or
multiple products as determined by study requirements. We offer
manual patient kit assembly along with semi-automated and automated
wallet sealing and high-speed automated carding to meet the needs
of studies of all sizes. For temperature sensitive products and
those with minimal to zero allowable time out of environment, we
can perform secondary packaging in refrigerated and frozen
packaging rooms or over dry ice depending upon your project
needs.-- Using our Clinicopia global labeling system with its
multi-lingual label phrase library we can design single panel,
booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID--- safe storage labels for
your studies. Single panel and Peel-ID--- safe storage labels can
be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal
before being printed and inspected at our facilities.Catalent
Pharma Solutions in Philadelphia is hiring a Project Engineer. The
Project Engineer meets cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices)
expectations. Leads the design, installation, start-up, validation,
and operation of facility and/or process equipment. This position
requires the individual to coordinate with internal and external
stakeholders to effectively lead capital projects and validation
activities. This person will take on projects and assist with the
direction of the engineering and validation teams.This is a
full-time, salaried role. ----This is onsite.-- This position is a
1st Shift role. The core hours are Monday - Friday,
8am-5pm.Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through

- Responsible for the design and implementation of the
facility/process/packaging systems
- Ensures this work meets cGMP (current Good Manufacturing
Practices) expectations
- Guides the specification and selection of manufacturing &
utility equipment to support new product development, manufacturing
process and packaging needs
- Prepare requests for quotation based on User Requirements
Specifications (URS) for multiple bidders for facility & equipment
products; Review bids and recommend vendor(s) for selection for
equipment projects
- Work with operations, process development, and quality
functions to lead the design, installation, start-up, validation,
and operation of facility and or process equipment
- Writes CAR's (Capital Appropriation Requests) for new
equipment, including researching the justification; Responsible for
managing project budget and timeline
- Commissioning / Decommissioning of equipment, including all
necessary change controls, training, and tollgate reviews
- All other duties as assignedThe Candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Chemical, Electrical,
Civil, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline
required
- At least three years of experience in related field or
comparable experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technicians,
customers, staff and other personnel
- Ability to troubleshoot simple to complex process and equipment
problems
- Development, manufacturing or packaging for clinical/commercial
drug products or combination products in a cGMP-controlled
environment, preferred
- Knowledge of change control and validation required, including
experience with equipment FAT, Commissioning, IQ, OQ, PQ and
development of qualification protocols/reports for packaging and
shipping activities
- Knowledge regarding design control, documentation, risk
management and processes such as FMEA, Design Verification and
URS
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and
