selected individual must live in or around the Philadelphia, PA
area and be able to travel to / visit suppliers in the area

Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture
state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers
to execute their precision strike missions. We are looking for a
Supplier Quality Engineer to implement tools and processes to
ensure suppliers improve on current products with robust plans and
deliver first time quality to BAE program customers. The person
will investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems
including proactive management via defect trend analysis,
preventative measures, and continuous improvement projects. This
person will report to the Precision Strike Business Area,
supporting the APKWS program by providing on-site oversight of our
critical suppliers. This position will be fully remote, however the
selected individual must live in or around the Philadelphia, PA
area and be able to travel to / visit suppliers in the area
weekly.The Role:
- Provide on-site management of assigned critical suppliers and
initiate efforts proactively to ensure conforming material is
delivered to the program factory on-time
- Evaluate and assess the impact of nonconforming product and
suppliers' corrective actions, including timely communication with
the program team of both.
- Lead problem solving and root cause analysis activities with
suppliers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances
- Perform Production Process Verifications (PPV's) at supplier
locations and participate in PPAP review process and other aspects
of APQP
- Flow down contractual requirements to suppliers based on QMS /
part / risk / customer requirements via quality clausing codesWork
with assigned suppliers to develop improvement plans to achieve
100% quality performance
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and program quality
on supplier-related engagements
- Drive "Zero Defect" culture within the supply baseThe

skills to ensure suppliers understand requirements and
expectations, as well as to communicate progress reports and

- Possesses a strong understanding of Quality Science tools
(APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma)
along with relevant industry standards and their application to
drive execution excellence Relates well with individuals at all
levels of the organization, builds appropriate rapport, fosters
constructive and effective relationships Collaborate with cross

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of
experience, or MS degree with 4+ years of experienceAbility to
analyze supplier defect/performance data and display
visuallyAbility to read and interpret documents such as technical
drawings, specifications, requirements,Excellent project
management, planning, and organization skills Strong communicator
capable of working through complex issues with peers, management
and multiple functionsProficient in MS Office Products including
Word, Excel, Power PointExperience in 8D/RCCA activitiesExperience
with requirements management and flowdownAbility to make decisions
using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures,
appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and
regulationsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in an engineering

InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
