Accessibility Remediation Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Accessibility Remediation SME for a remote contracted position.

Key Responsibilities

Apply software fixes and accessibility features within Ruby on Rails source code
Perform audits and validation testing based on Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 guidelines
Document findings and recommend solutions for accessibility violations

Required Qualifications and Skills

U.S. citizenship or green card holder
3+ years of experience with digital accessibility remediation
5+ years of industry experience in web/desktop technologies
3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
Expert knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 compliance standards
