Description:Pure Power Engineering is looking for an experienced
Structural Engineer who wants to work as a team player within our
progressive firm. The ideal candidate will have outstanding
experience in the design of steel, concrete and wood commercial and
institutional buildings and work alongside our in-house Structural
PE to generate the solar industry's best structural design,
analysis, and calculation packages.About Pure PowerPure Power is an

high-profile Solar PV systems. As a full-service engineering firm,
we create the electrical and structural drawings and calculation
packages for bidding, permits and construction, as well as
supporting the lead up to the full engineering drawings, primarily
interconnection support and electrical/structural feasibility

make it hereResponsibilities:You will work alongside our in-house
Structural PE to generate the solar industry's best structural
design, analysis, and calculation packages.Perform structural
analysis for building structures and solar mounting systems such as
ballasted roof, attached roof, ground mount, and elevated
canopy/carports.Produce required structural analysis documentation
for the approval of solar permits.Determine and prepare wind and
seismic calculations to ensure the integrity and compliance of the
photovoltaic mounting systems.Work under the direction of senior
staff, adhering to company procedures.Perform structural analysis
for existing buildings and create a calculation package.Use AutoCAD
to generate drawings and sketches.Participate in project meetings
and conference calls.Perform on-site structural inspections and
gather information on as-built conditions.Work cross functionally
with other teams within and outside the engineering department to
ensure clients' needs and internal deadlines are
met.Requirements:Required Qualifications:B.S. in Civil Engineering
with a Structural focusEngineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals
of Engineering (FE).3+ years of experience in the analysis and
design of renovations, new buildings, and foundationsAbility to
perform assessments/inspections in the field, including on active
construction sites--Knowledge and familiarity with typical software
used in engineering consulting, including AutoCAD, TEDDS, and
RAM.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing
multiple assignments.Dedication to learning, acquiring new skills,
and developing solutions for challenges.Ability to travel for site
visits 40% of the time. Thorough knowledge of engineering
standards, codes, and other applicable state and federal
guidelines.Valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:Master's
degree in civil engineering; Structural concentration or a related
topic.Professional Engineering Certification. Experience in
geotechnical engineering.Experience in site inspection.Knowledge of
local building codes (IBC, ASCE7, AISC, ACI).LocationThis position
will be based out of our exciting downtown Hoboken, NJ Headquarters
with the flexibility to work a hybrid in-office and remotely weekly
schedule. We are next to public transportation options from NYC and
Northern NJ. We also provide a parking spot for the days when an
employee wishes to drive to the office and for those that utilize
public transportation, we will cover the costs associated with
traveling to and from the office.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer
a competitive salary commensurate with experience. We pay 100% of
our employee medical, dental, and vision benefits costs, offer 401k
matching, commuter benefits and much more!Salary Range:
