SUMMARY OF JOB:
"$6,000 sign on bonus" -The Hospice Clinical Manager and Education
Specialist is responsible for the daily operations and supervision
of the interdisciplinary clinical team to include, but not limited
to, nurses, therapists, schedulers. Delivers quality patient care
by coordinating, implementing and evaluating Hospice services
evidenced by positive outcomes. - Assumes 24-hour accountability
for patient care functions and the direction of the patient care
team, and the evaluation and treatment of hospice patients when
needed. - - - -In addition, this position oversees all aspects of
the Hospice team's professional development to ensure the ongoing
excellence of nursing practice. - Proactively identifies knowledge
and/or skill gaps and implements remediation to help staff grow and
refine clinical expertise, reviews and updates policies, and
ensures best practice and quality of care. Supports quality
improvement initiatives, regulatory and accreditation projects and
processes as needed. -Perform on-site supervisory visits with team
