Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Director of Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of accounting professionals and oversee daily
operations and monthly close processes
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring
compliance with GAAP and accuracy of financial records
Collaborate with various teams to support revenue recognition and
ensure timely responses to audit and tax inquiries
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years
in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and nonprofit accounting
Experience with federal grant compliance and fund accounting
principles
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a
team
