Job Description:

FlexStaff is seeking a Temporary Tax Accountant for our client.

As a Tax Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring compliance obligations are efficient, on time, and accurate, while minimizing the company's sales tax liabilities.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Prepare, review and file sales and use tax returns from Vertex for multiple states, to comply with state and local regulations.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting preferred), CPA helpful
    
  • 3-5 years of multi-state sales tax accounting experience
    
  • Experience researching tax rules and regulations for products and services.
    
  • Proficiency with Vertex Returns, or similar tax management systems required.
    
  • Oracle and Tableau experience a plus
    
  • Strong Excel skills are required
    
  • Ability to work independently and interact well with others
