for providing business performance analysis, reporting, and
forecasting for the Xumo Play & Enterprise business. This position
requires a finance professional capable of managing multiple
priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing, and fluid organization.
You must be highly analytical, organized, and skilled at
communication and problem solving. The successful candidate will
adapt quickly to change and will bring an innovation mindset to
approach FP&A processes, tools, and financial modeling.
Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter, was formed to
develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform on a variety
of branded 4K streaming devices and smart TVs. Powered by Comcast's
global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an
entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers to
find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a
world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to
meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers.Job
DescriptionHighly Preferred Qualifications/Additional Info:
- Position involves partnering with various business ops and
finance & accounting leads, to decipher and analyze financial and
operational data.
- Ideal candidate will have strong financial & business analysis
experience, with presenting own analysis & interpretation which
aligns to key business drivers & business metrics.
- Strong ability to build relationships & collaborate effectively
a "start-up like" environment.
- Experience with Hyperion Smart View preferred.
- Experience with Tableau a plus
- Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA- 4 days/week & 1
day remote.

Responsibilities
- Play key role in managing projected operating expenses for Xumo
Play & Enterprise during the monthly forecast and annual budget
cycles, including validating key forecast assumptions, owning
reporting and consolidation, and partnering with budget
owners.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and
accurate financial closes on a monthly basis.
- Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related
reports as needed.
- Provides analysis and evaluation of cost/expense problems and
profit improvement opportunities existing within current business
activities.
- Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases. Runs
appropriate weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of financial presentations for Senior
Leadership Teams
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to
work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as
necessary.
