Our client, a world-class educational institution, is looking for an accountant. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role. Client DetailsWell known educational institution based in Upper Manhattan. This role offers hybrid flexibility and potential for FTE within 6 weeks. DescriptionThis role will involve:

• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Develop and manage accounting projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Work independently to identify, gather, and use necessary resources and information to execute assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational procedures.
• Ensure proper accounting of transactions in compliance with Zeta accounting standards.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.ProfileThe successful candidate will have: --- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.--- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.--- Ability to take initiative and work independently to solve problems and meet deadlines.--- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.--- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.--- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.--- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Job OfferVery competitive compensation & benefits package!
